Jeepers voted for Obama at school. Golfdad voted for John McCain but he told me that if I wanted to vote for the winner, vote for Barack Obama. I voted behind a curtain (or squeezed between 2 cardboard petitions) and even though I am pretty sure that the 2 people on either side of me know exactly how I voted, I will not post it here.
I was not Obama's #1 fan (but I know them) and I certainly don't agree with him on all the issues. But, like winter in northern Michigan, we have to embrace change.
What a historic night and how absolutely fabulous is it that our children may have the chance to be raised in a nation where a winning race isn't about black and white but about the person who got to the finish line first!
